Hospital MD hangs self;names four men responsible for his

A 40-year-old doctor and Managing Director of a private hospital here allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his office room, police said on Tuesday.

According to police in a suicide note, purportedly written by him, he named four persons including the hospital's building owner as responsible for his death.

The staff found his body hanging in the room, they said.

His wife alleged that the owner was harassing her husband mentally to vacate the hospital and had fileda case through his three associates, police said.

The building owner was also pressuring him for rent, she said in her complaint.

 

A case under IPC section 306 (abetment to suicide) has been registered against the four men.
