Hot and humid weather in mot parts of Bihar today

Hot and humid weather conditions prevailed in most parts of Bihar today with Gaya being the hottest place in the state at 39.3 degrees Celsius.

As per the Met office bulletin Bhagalpur followed recording 38 degrees Celsius and Patna 37.4 degrees. Purnea's maximum was 35.6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature hovered around its normal temperature in the four major cities.

Patna witnessed 81 per cent of humidity while Bhagalpur and Purnea registered 79 per cent of humidity in the morning, it said and added that Gaya registered 60 per cent humidity.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places in north Bihar and south east Bihar with Purnea recording 81.5 mm of rainfall while Bhagalpur and Patna registered 0.5 mm and trace respectively.
 

Met department has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
