Hot conditions prevailed in the national capital with the maximum temperature settling at a notch above the season's average.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the normal, said a Meteorological Department official.
The humidity oscillated between 48 and 12 per cent.
The Met office has forecast overcast skies along with the possibility of thundery development towards the evening tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 40 and 22," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 39 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 22 degrees Celsius.
