The national capital will experience a hot day today with the sun beating down since morning and the day temperature likely to hover around 42 degree Celsius.
The Meteorological department has predicted a clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures to be around 42 and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
Humidity levels in the city were recorded between 22 per cent to 81 per cent.
Yesterday, Delhiites experienced scorching weather conditions with the maximum temperature settling at 40.6 degree Celsius and the minimum recorded at 25.6 degree Celsius.
