It was a hot day today in the national capital with the mercury rising three degrees above normal at 36.4 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled at 20.8 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. The humidity oscillated between 71 and 33 per cent, a Met department official said.
The weather department has forecast overcast skies along with the possibility of thundery developments for tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 22 degrees respectively," the Met Office said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 35.4 degrees and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
