In an abrupt change in weather, hot days have revived in most parts of Rajasthan due to easterly winds, with Barmer today recording maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius, about 4 notches above normal.
The day and night temperatures have taken an upward trend by one to six degrees Celsius in last 48 hours after the passing of a western disturbance that had brought pre-winter rains in Rajasthan last week, the state MeT director said.
Easterly winds have abated the beginning of winter season in the month of November which was picked up very well by end of October, he said.

Jaipur also experienced sunny and hot day as it recorded 34 degrees Celsius this afternoon, which was one degree more than yesterday. Churu recorded 35.3 degrees Celsius.
Nights are not cool in north eastern parts of the state as it was last week. Due to abrupt rise in temperature, people have started using fans and ACs at home.
Elsewhere, the lowest temperature during last night ranged between 19 and 20 degrees Celsius.
It will take about a week for fresh northerly winds to approach Rajasthan for setting up of pre-winter days, the state MeT director said.
