Hot, humid conditions in national capital

Hot and humid conditions prevailed in Delhi today as rains continued to evade the national capital and temperature remained above the normal level.

The maximum temperature was recorded a notch above normal at 35.6 degrees Celsius, while minimum was 26.3 deg C, three degree above normal, the MeT department said.

Though the sky was cloudy but the city did not witness rains, it said.

The humidity level reached 92 per cent during the day while the minimum was 57 per cent.

The MeT Department has predicted a generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rains or thundershowers in some areas of the city tomorrow.
 

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain around 33 and 26 deg C respectively.
