It was an extremely hot morning in Delhi today with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal.
"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 26 degrees Celsius and the humidity was 52 per cent," a MeT official said.
The weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions during the day.
"The maximum temperature and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 37 and 26 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 21.5 degrees Celsius.
