It was a hot morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 24 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 24.3 degrees Celsius and the humidity was 37 per cent," a MeT official said.
The weatherman has predicted that the mercury will rise up to 43 degrees Celsius and dust raising winds might prevail during the day.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 42 degrees and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
