Hot weather conditions today continued unabated in Haryana and Punjab as temperature hovered around 41 to 43.2 degrees Celsius at many places in the two states.
According to MeT office, Hisar in Haryana recorded a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal.
Karnal sizzled at 43 degrees C, three notches up, while Ambala had a hot day at 42.5 degrees C, also three degrees above normal.

Chandigarh residents experienced yet another hot day at 41.2 degrees C, up two notches than normal.
In Punjab, blistering heat swept Ludhiana at 43.2 degrees C, up two notches, while Amritsar recorded a high of 42.6 degrees C, two notches above normal.
There was no relief from the heat waves for the residents of Patiala also, with the maximum temperature there settling at 42.8 degrees C, two degrees above normal.
