Hot and humid weather troubled the people in Rajasthan today as rains continued to elude the state with no rainfall being reported throughout the day.
Scattered rainfall was reported last night from isolated places in the state including Dholpur, Fatehpur, Sadulshahar, Karanpur, Padampura, Vijaynagar and Sriganganagar, the MeT department said.
Churu was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Bikaner 39.6, Jaisalmer 38.3, Barmer 38.2, and Ganganagar 38 degrees Celsius.
Rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours, the MeT forecast said.
