Akshay Kumar-starrer "Housefull 3" has collected Rs 100 crore in the first weekend.
The Sajid-Farhad directed film, which is the third installment in the "Housefull" franchise, released on June 3.
In an official statement Eros International announced that the movie has collected over Rs 100.03 crores (USD 15 million) across the globe in its opening weekend with Rs 73.02 crores gross (Rs.53.31 crores net box Office) in India and Rs 27.01 crores overseas.
"Housefull 3" also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon.
The star cast is happy with the success of the film and Akshay recently took to Twitter to thank his fans for all the love and support.
"With folded hands #HF3 gang would like 2 say the BIGGEST THANK YOU 2 all the Fans 4 makin #Housefull3 a HUGE SUCCESS," he tweeted.
The film is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
