Housewife found murdered

A 45-year-old housewife was found

dead in her house at Ulhasnagar township here, police said today.

The murder took place on Saturday night at Rahul Residency when her husband and son were away at their shop in Navi Mumbai, they said.

The incident came to light when the two--husband Harilal and 25 year old son Sagar--returned home around midnight and failed to get any response from the woman--Nimi Harilal Panchwani--inside after continuous knocking, following which the door was broke open to find her lying in a pool of blood.

Police have ruled out the possibility of robbery as her ornaments were left intact.
 

The woman was stabbed to death and an offence has been registered under section 452 and 302 of the IPC, police said adding searches have begun for the killers.
