A 30-year-old woman was allegedly
raped on several occasions by a man who threatened to kill her son and husband at Ambarnath and Navi Mumbai, police said today.
The accused, identified as Appa Parulekar, sexually assaulted the housewife, staying in Nevali area near Ambarnath, by threatening to harm her husband and minor son over last one-and-half-years, said Assistant Inspector M K Chavan of Hill Line police station.
Citing the complaint, he said the woman was beaten up with iron rod by the accused and four of his accomplices on June 25 night.
Police have registered a case under various sections of IPC and are looking for the accused.
