A woman was allegedly strangulated by her in-laws today at their residence in Belgharia in North 24-Parganas district, the police said.
Twenty-year-old Arpita Das who was married two-and-a-half years ago, was found dead and her father Parimal Bhowmik alleged in a complaint to the police that she was strangulated to death by her in-laws, the police said.
Bhowmik accused Arpita's husband, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and the house-owner for her death in the FIR, sources said.
