HP CM inaugurates development works worth Rs 57 crore

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today laid foundation stones for about a dozen developmental projects worth Rs 57 crore here.

He also laid foundation stone of the proposed indoor sports complex and tennis court at Sidhpur and the ambitious smart lighting system in the Dharmasala municipal corporation.

The Chief Minister laid foundation stones and dedicated 10 projects form a single site in the old DC complex.

On this occasion, Singh dedicated the newly-constructed building of Primary Health Centre, Khanyara built with Rs 77.49 lakhs and Sargandi Nallah Bridge on lower and upper Chetaru constructed at a cost of Rs 127.49 lakh, building of PHC Bagali built with Rs 69.88 lakhs among others.
 

He laid foundation stones for the Kaner-Thamba Road to be built at a cost of Rs 177.75 lakhs, a community centre at a cost of Rs eight lakhs in the residential complex of HP Board of School Education at Sidhpur, conserving prominent temple precincts and upgrading urban infrastructure for tourism in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj at a cost of over Rs 40 crore.

On this occasion Urban Developmental Minister Sudhir Sharma, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Jagjivan Pal, chairman KCCB Jagdeesh Siphiya, chairman HPBSE Balbir Tegta, vice-chairman Kewal Singh Pathania were also present.

Virbhadra Singh had started the practice of winter Sojourn during which the Chief Minister tours the lower parts of the state including Kangra, Chamba, Una and Hamirur and listens to the grievances of the people.
