Former BJP minister Rajiv Bindal today accused the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh of discriminating against his Nahan Assembly constituency and indulging in political victimisation.

Talking to reporters here, Bindal said that he had been pursuing several development projects vigorously for the past year but they had been rejected by the state departments for "no reason".

Urging the state government to clear 60 major development projects worth hundreds of crores of rupees within a month, he threatened to launch an agitation if his demand was not met.

Bindal said he had raised his voice at the state planning commission meeting chaired by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and also in the state assembly, but no progress has been made in this regard.
