A Himachal Pradesh revenue official was arrested Wednesday for allegedly assaulting Shimla Municipal Corporation commissioner's personal assistant, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pramod Shukla said Shanti Swaroop might have attacked Shimla MC commissioner's PA Mohan Lal due to some old enmity.
He said the exact reason of the attack is being probed.
An FIR was registered at the Sadar police station against Swarop, Shukla said.
