The Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) has clocked a turnover of Rs 50.83 crore during 2015-16 and earned a profit of Rs 1.36 crore, Irrigation and Public health and Information technology (IT) minister Vidya Stokes today said.
Presenting a cheque of Rs 21-lakh to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh towards CM's Relief fund, Stokes, who is also the chairman of the corporation, said that the HPSEDC had been continuously in profit for the last eleven years and had rupees four crore in its general reserve as accumulated profits after wiping out all accumulated losses of previous years.
Principal Secretary IT, J C Sharma briefed the chief minister about the activities of the corporation and its future plans.
