The move will benefit as many as 676 employees of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), an official release said.
An additional increment will also be given to all Class IV employees of HPTDC who have completed 20 years of service, it said.
The government also decided to convert all part-time workers across different departments as daily wagers subject to their fulfilling the eligibility norms.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, who gave approval to the proposals during a meeting, termed the corporation a pioneer in hospitality industry with a vast network of hotels and restaurants.
