HR STF arrests man wanted in multiple criminal cases

The Haryana police has arrested a man who is named as an accused in multiple criminal cases and carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, police said Wednesday.

A team of Special Task Force (STF) nabbed Ravinder alias Rabbo Tuesday night near Kamla Nehru Park, Sohna Chowk in Gurugram, a spokesman for the Haryana Police said.

Ravinder is a resident of Rohta Patti, Hodal, district Palwal, he said, adding that a pistol and two live cartridges were also recovered from his possession.

He was involved in several cases of crime including attempt to murder, theft, obstructing public servant in discharge of duty, rioting and criminal intimidation", he said.

 

The arrested person has also been declared a proclaimed offender in a case registered at Sadar Police Station, Palwal district, he added.
