The recent three-day visit of BJP chief Amit Shah to Haryana has "energised" the party's state unit, senior Minister Anil Vij said today.
He said the programmes given by Amit Shah to the party workers during his visit to Haryana from August 2-4 "are being taken up religiously".
"The state BJP unit has been energised after the visit of Amit Shah ji to Haryana earlier this month. There is new enthusiasm among the workers. Working on the message given by our party chief, our workers have started to further strengthen the party at booth level," the Health and Sports Minister said here.

"Every worker is putting his full might to see that all programmes which were announced by Shah in different meetings are realised and achieved. Our party president's main message was that the BJP has to be strengthened at booth level," he said.
With an eye on the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Shah is travelling across states to strategise and find ways to strengthen the party at the grass-root level. The BJP president had visited Union Territory Chandigarh in May. He visited Haryana from August 2-4.
Shah is on a 110-day country-wide tour which began in Jammu in April this year. His tour is in two phases--95 days and 15 days.
Vij said that in Haryana, the BJP formed government on its own for the first time after the October 2014 assembly polls.
"People gave us the opportunity to serve them. Now, it is for us to convert that opportunity and trust reposed by the people in us by working hard to make the state our stronghold. This can be realised when we are strong at the booth level," he said.
With BJP government in Haryana led by Manohar Lal Khattar completing its three years in office in October this year, Vij said, "the government is going in the right direction. People are happy with our performance and we are committed to further accelerate the pace of development in the remaining two years".
Asked if there was scope for further improvement, Vij said, "look, scope of improvement should always be there. Amit Shah also said that we should not sit satisfied by thinking that we have achieved all. We have to work in that spirit and think that we can further improve. A satisfied person thinks everything has been achieved and there is nothing more to do, that feeling should never come."
Vij said that one of the main achievements of the government was showing zero tolerance towards corruption and digitalising various citizen delivery services which has brought transparency.
About the Health Department, Vij said an estimate is being prepared to see how many hospitals need to be upgraded across the state so that congestion can be cut and better healthcare facilities be provided to people.
With some swine flu deaths in neighbouring Punjab and even Chandigarh this season, Vij said every care is being taken to ensure that H1N1 virus is contained.
"So far in this season as of August 15, no deaths have been reported. 77 positive cases have been reported so far, and most of the cases are from Hisar and Panchkula districts," he said.
