Haryana Government has approved implementation of revised Village Convergence and Facilitation Service (VCFS) scheme in 12 districts of the state to raise awareness about Central and State programmes for women's empowerment.
"It is aimed at generating awareness about Central and State Government programmes and schemes in the context of women's empowerment and mobilise the community to create demand and avail such services," Haryana Minister Kavita Jain was quoted as saying by an official release here today.
The revised VCFS scheme would be implemented in those districts where 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' scheme was already being implemented, the state Women and Child Development Minister said.
