The Haryana government has approved revision of pay of non-teaching staff of 14 state universities as per the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
This decision will benefit about 20,000 employees of these universities, state Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said here today.
The new pay scale will come into effect retrospectively from January 1, 2016.
The salary for July 2017 would be paid as per the revised pay scale, he said, adding the arrears of 18 months would also be paid.
