Hry withdraws order on with-holding benefits to employees

The Haryana government has withdrawn its order regarding withholding of several benefits to the employees, an official statement said today.

"The Haryana Government has withdrawn the instructions regarding withholding the LTC (leave travel concession), HTC (hometown leave concession), child education allowance, child care leave, annual increment, promotion, loans of the employees who were regularized under the policies 2014," the official statement said here today.

A notification to this effect has been issued by Haryana chief secretary today, it said.

The state government had on Friday ordered to withhold the allowances and benefits provided to these employees.

As per the earlier order, the government departments had been directed that the various benefits be withheld till the further decision of the state government.

 

Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala had criticised the M L Khattar government's decision to withhold the benefits to the thousands of employees.
