HSCFDC provides financial assistance of Rs 33 cr till Nov

Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSCFDC) has provided financial assistance of over Rs 32.61 crore, including Rs 3.51 crore as subsidy, to 5,153 beneficiaries under various schemes up to November 2015.

Stating this here today, an official spokesman said that people belonging to Scheduled Castes were being provided loans under various categories so as to enable them to set up their ventures and make them self-employed.

These categories included agriculture, industrial, trade and business sectors, among others.

Financial assistance under schemes assisted by National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) was also being provided.

He said that under agriculture and allied sector, over Rs 18.56 crore loans for dairy and pig farming, sheep rearing, and mule cart were disbursed among 3,356 beneficiaries up to November this year.
 

Out of this, more than Rs 16.62 crore had been released as bank loan, over Rs 1.92 crore as subsidy and Rs 1.20 lakh as margin money.

He said that Rs 93.75 lakh had been provided to 140 beneficiaries under industrial sector scheme and over Rs 10.92 crore to 1,540 beneficiaries under trade and business sector.

Similarly, Rs 1 lakh had been released under professional and self-employment sector.

He said that financial assistance of over Rs 2.18 crore was released by the corporation under the schemes assisted by NSFDC during the same period.

Out of this, a sum of Rs 20.55 lakh was shared by the state corporation.
