HSIIDC to develop IMT under PPP model at Sonipat

State-owned industrial infrastructure developer HSIIDC today said four infra and realty companies, including L&T and Mahindra World City, took part in a pre-bid conference for the development of Industrial Model Township (IMT) under PPP mode at Sonipat in Haryana.

In a pre-application conference, representatives of four companies, including L&T, M3M, Mahindra World City and IL&FS Townships participated, HSIIDC said in a release issued here today.

Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) has proposed development of IMT spread across 6,000 acres of land at Bidhal-Lath Gohana in Sonipat.

HSIIDC plans developing at Bidhal Lath Gohana in Sonipat over an area of approximately 6,000 acres though PPP model, the release said.
 

This project will be executed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode for the first time, said an HSIIDC official.

The proposed IMT is envisaged to have campuses for large industries, industrial plots, flatted factories, residential facilities, labour housing, commercial and institutional areas, entertainment zones, skill development & healthcare facilities etc.

The proposed IMT will span around 6,000 acres in villages of Bidhal, Lath, Jauli, around 11 km from Sonipat town, and is well connected to the NCR, it said.

HSIIDC has already invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for development of IMT.

HSIIDC, the Haryana government's nodal agency for development of industrial infrastructure in the state, has already developed six IMTs, including at Manesar, Bawal, Rohtak and Mewat.
