Smartphone maker HTC today said it has partnered with IPL team Delhi Daredevils to make its 'HTC One M8' as the 'official phone' for the GMR Group-owned cricket franchise.
The Taiwanese firm recently unveiled the new flagship model in India with a price tag of Rs 49,900.
"The Cricket League has an incredible reach and its popularity cuts across demographics and geographies. Delhi Daredevils is one of the most youthful and exciting teams in the League with a good blend of international and Indian stars," HTC India Country Head Faisal Siddiqui said in a statement.

The handset has five-inch full HD display, improved ultrapixel Duo camera and the dual stereo speakers. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
The device will be available from May 7.
