Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) today sealed four petrol pumps, including that of a BJP politician, in Gurgaon for non payment of rent to the department.
"These four outlets have not paid their dues to the department. They have violated the rules and regulations and also did not respond to the department's notice served to them," HUDA administrator Praveen Kumar said.
Meanwhile, BJP secretary and a contender for Gurgaon Lok Sabha seat Sudha Yadav, whose petrol pump is among the four outlets sealed, termed the action as "arbitrary and biased".

She claimed HUDA has arbitrarily started demanding lease rent on the basis of petrol and diesel discharging point (nozzle) number at a petrol pump. The issue is sub-judice but HUDA is demanding the rent as per its new rules.
Yadav, who had won Lok Sabha election in 1999, alleged the action was initiated by the Congress-ruled government to "harass" her.
Denying the charges, Kumar said the department had not done any biased action by sealing Yadav's and other three outlets.
