Huge cache of weapons recovered during search op in Pakistan

A huge cache of weapons and explosives were recovered today during a search operation in Pakistan's restive northwestern tribal region.

The weapons were recovered from the mountains of Dawagai area in Mamond tehsil during a search operation conducted by the Frontier Crops (FC), an official with the Bajaur Scouts said.

Three suicide jackets, one remote control bombs, 3 kg explosives, three hand grenades, 11 pocket of ball bearing, and three pistols were recovered from the site, the official said.

The recovery was made under Raddul Fasaad, an operation aimed at deweaponising and eliminating the hidden terrorist sleeper cells across the country.
