Actor Huge Jackman sliced the tip of his finger during a preview performance of his Broadway show 'The River'.

The actor took to Twitter to share the picture of his injured finger.

Jackman, who stars as a recluse and fisherman in the stage drama, accidentally cut himself with a knife while chopping a lemon around half an hour into the performance.

The actor, however, did not let the injury affect his performance as he grabbed a towel and carried on doing his part, reported People magazine.

The star, 46, was examined by doctors but didn't need stitches.

The Jez Butterworth play opens on November 16.
