On a tip-off, troops of Rashtriya Rifles unearthed a hideout in Dhana area of Mahore tehsil in Reasi today, defence spokesman said here.
One 5.56 mm rifle with one magazine, 20 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, two 12 bore rifle single barrel, 16 rounds of 12 bore ammunition, 22 fired cases of 12 bore ammunition, six HMG ammunition, ten rounds 7.62 mm ammunition, 221 rounds 7.62 mm AK ammunition, one RPG (Destr in situ), six UBGL Grenades (Destr in situ) and four kg PEK (Destr in situ) were recovered in the raid.
In a similar operation, Rashtriya Rifles busted a hideout inhospitable Kharawah Nala in Bhimdasa village of Gool belt in Ramban district last night, officials said.
Warlike items including one Pikka Gun, one 303 Rifles, 4 UGBL Grenades, one Chinese Hand Grenade, two Kgs explosive, one Water Jerican and one Digging Spade was seized, they said.
