Officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) today seized 1500 kg of contraband ganja from a truck in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of DRI with the help of local police checked a truck and recovered 1500 kg of contraband ganja valued at approximately Rs 60 lakh in International market.
One person identified as Vishal was arrested with the contraband, Officer in-charge of Bochaha police station Abhishek Ranjan said.
During questioning it came to light that the contraband was going to Rajasthan from Northeast, the OC said.
