The 51-year-old British actor played Daniel Cleaver in the hit franchise's first two films and he is keen to star in the upcoming film from the franchise, reported Contactmusic.
"I've seen some scripts. They haven't quite hit the nail yet, but they will. They're working on it," he said.
"The Full Monty" director Peter Cattaneo is reportedly directing the movie, in which actress Renee Zellweger reprises her role of the titular character. The film will also star Colin Firth. PTI JCH
