Former WWE star Hulk Hogan has ordered the management of his Florida eatery Hogan's Beach to remove a sign featuring dress code which seemingly targeted certain people.

The 61-year-old wrestler asked the staff to take the sign down after he was made aware of the rules posted on it which include no excessively baggy attire, low-hanging pants or shorts and over-sized or excessive jewelry among others., reported TMZ online.

Hogan, who only licenses his name for the eatery, said that the sign now has been removed permanently.

According to Hogan, the sign was modelled after those posted at Las Vegas and Miami pool parties and was never meant to be racist.

The eatery made headlines as a photo of the sign was posted online. In addition to the said items, the dress code list also featured no hats facing sideways or back facing, high top sneakers, plain white T-shirts, over-sized T-shirts, sports or sleeveless jerseys, du-rags or bandanas among others.

An employee at the restaurant said that people could wear anything, but the rules were strictly enforced during concerts.

Hogan, who said that he did not know anything about the sign, promised to talk to the managers about it before ordering them to remove the sign.
