Humid conditions prevail, Met predicts rains

Humid conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 28.5 degree Celsius, one notch above normal.

Met Department said the humidity level was recorded at 71 per cent till 8.30 AM, leaving Delhiites sweating.

The mercury will remain below the 40 degree mark today, as the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36 degree Celsius.

"There will be a partly cloudy sky for the rest of the day and rains and thunderstorms could occur in some areas," MeT department officials said.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 37.2 degree Celsius, which was one notch above normal while the minimum was recorded two points below normal at 25.2 degree Celsius.
