Residents of the national capital today woke up to a humid morning, but as a respite the minimum temperature settled close to a pleasant 19 degrees Celsius.
The humidity in air today shot up to 91 per cent, causing discomfort to Delhiites, with rains unlikely for the next few days, a MeT department official said.
"The weather forecast for today and the next few days is mainly clear sky, with mist/shallow fog in the morning," he said.

According to the weatherman, the situation would remain the same till October 29, when "mainly clear sky would just change to partly clear sky or cloudy."
The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 19.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, while the maximum expected later in the day is 32 degrees Celsius, the MeT official said.
The maximum and minimum temperature forecast for tomorrow is 19 degrees Celsius and 33 degress Celsius.
