Humid day in the national capital

It was a humid day in the national capital today with the mercury settling at 34.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, a MeT Department official said.

Residents of the city experienced unease as the humidity level oscillated between 56 per cent and 88 per cent.

The MeT office has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 36 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius," the official said.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 22.8 degrees Celsius.
