Humid day prevails in Delhi

High humidity prevailed in the national capital today causing much discomfort to people in the city.

"The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal for this time of the year. The minimum temperature settled at 27.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal," a MeT official said.

The humidity levels oscillated between 60 and 81 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted cloudy sky for tomorrow with possibility of rain.

"The sky will be cloudy tomorrow. Light rains and thunder showers might occur in few areas," he said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
 

Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum had hit at 37 degrees Celsius.
