High level of humidity coupled with increased temperature continued to make people's life difficult in Bihar today even as the weather office forecast light to moderate rain in Patna and other parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
The maximum temperature across the state hovered around 34 to 36 degrees which are considered as normal.
The MeT Department has forecast that Patna and Gaya may witness a generally cloudy sky with light rain while Bhagalpur and Purnea will have generally cloudy sky with moderate rain tomorrow.

Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius and minimum 26 degrees Celsius, state MeT office said.
Humidity was 74 per cent in Patna in the morning which went upto 70 per cent in the evening after the rain, it said.
Gaya was the hottest place in Bihar today with maximum temperature recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 27.9 degrees Celsius. Humidity was 69 per cent in the morning while it went upto 51 per cent in the evening.
Bhagalpur registered maximum temperature of 35.4 degrees Celsius and minimum 23.4 degrees Celsius. Humidity in Bhagalpur was recorded 80 per cent while it was 73 per cent in the evening.
Purnea recorded maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and minimum 24 degrees Celsius. Due to rainfall, Purnea too recorded a high humidity level of 89 per cent in the morning while it was 71 per cent in the evening.
Purnea recorded 40.1 mm rainfall today, the area where the monsoon arrived yesterday while Patna recorded 2.0 mm rainfall by the evening, MeT office said.
The monsoon had hit the north-eastern part of Bihar yesterday while it would advance in other parts of the state in the next three days, MeT official said.
