Hundreds of Kashmiri pandits and Hindus from all parts of the country today thronged the ancient Mata Katyayani Temple in Kulgam district of south Kashmir for the two-day second annual 'mahayagya'.

The 'mahayagya', which started yesterday, was organised by All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC).

The committee had reconstructed four small temples within the Mata Katyayani temple complex last year.

"The Katyayani Temple is like a jewel in the crown of APMCC achievements since 2005 as it is not only one of the biggest temples that has been reconstructed, but is also the most beautiful one," King Bharati, national spokesperson of APMCC said.
