The leader of the hunger-strikers 28-year-old P Nongshlong on fast since June 30 at Langpih village would end it tomorrow after holding a meeting, West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner S Kharlyngdoh told PTI over phone today.

Meanwhile, the People Movement have called a one-day office picketing tomorrow in the four Khasi Jaintia hills districts demanding an early settlement to the border row.

"Withdrawing the hunger-strike by Nongshlong doesn't mean that other agitational programs are also withdrawn," Peoples' Movement activist and Nongkrem legislator Ardent Basaiawmoit said.
