Tired of listening to sarcastic remarks about his "extramarital affairs", a man was arrested for allegedly murdering his pregnant wife at Barikalmer area of Hatod, a suburban town near here, on April 24, a senior cop said today.
Ram Jatav (24) allegedly opened fire at his wife Kalabaee (19) with a country-made pistol after she made remarks about his alleged extramarital affairs, SP-West Anil Singh Kushwaha told reporters here.
Kalabaee succumbed to bullet injuries with her six-months-old foetus, the SP said.
After being producing in court, the accused was sent to three days' police remand, the SP said.
