A man and his wife died on the spot when their motorbike collided head-on with a jeep coming from opposite direction, police said here today.
The deceased were identified as Gurjeet Singh and his wife Ranjit Kaur, police said here.
The accident took place near Raunta village here last evening when both Gurjeet and his wife Ranjit were going to their village Rode on the motorcycle.
The jeep driver identified as Kartar Singh fled after the accident while police have registered a case against him.
