A resident of Himachal Pradesh and his wife died on the spot after their car collided head on with a truck here today.
The deceased were identified as Kewal Pathania, resident of district Kangra in Himachal Pradesh and his wife, police said here.
In the noon Pathania along with his wife was coming from Pathankot to Hoshiarpur, when his car collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Baba Manjh Convent School on Hoshiarpur-Dasuya road near Haryana.
Truck driver after the accident fled from the scene, police added.
