Mohamed Hussamuddin (56kg) was the lone Indian boxer to enter the final even as two of his compatriots settled for bronze medals after losing in the semifinals of the 68th Strandja Memorial Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hussamuddin defeated local favourite Stefan Ivanov to make the summit clash, where he will face Ukraine's Mykola Butsenko.

However, Amit Panghal (49kg) had to be content with a bronze medal after going down to another local favourite Tinko Banabakov in his semifinal bout.

In the women's draw, Meena Kumari Maisnam lost to Bulgaria's Stanimira Petrova to sign off with a bronze medal.
