Hyd ACB unearths Rs 2.5 cr DA of town planning supervisor

State Anti-Corruption Bureau today unearthed assets worth over Rs 2.5 crore which were allegedly related to a Town Planning supervisor here.

"On credible information, a case of disproportionate assets was registered against E Ramachander, Town Planning Supervisor (Circle III) at L B Nagar, and searches were conducted simultaneously at the residential buildings here and at his relatives and close associates located at Hyderabad and in Warangal district," said ACB DSP Shanker Reddy.

Movable and immovable properties worth about Rs 2,51,67,236 were unearthed, he said, adding Ramachander's bank lockers were yet to be opened.

The accused officer is yet to be arrested and the case is under investigation, the DSP said.
