Hyd student to participate in 'WorldSkills Competition'

A student from Hyderabad has bagged the opportunity to participate in the 'WorldSkills Competition' to be held in Abu Dhabi from October 14 to 19.

Meher Rishika Nori from Hyderabad got the opportunity to represent India in IT Software Solution for Business (IT SSB) at the WorldSkills 2017, touted as the biggest exhibition for skills.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has been spearheading India's participation under WorldSkills since 2011, a release said.

NSDC is one of its kind public private partnerships, which works on promoting skill development ecosystem in India.

Under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, NSDC has trained more 12.5 million people since 2010, the release added.
