Hyderabad today dismissed Jammu and Kashmir for 299 in the first innings to grab three crucial points after their group C Ranji Trophy match ended in a stale draw at Gandhi Memorial Science College Ground here.
On the fourth and final day, Hyderabad, who had scored a mammoth 514 for eight declared in their first innings, dismissed the last four batsmen of J&K for another 101 runs and then asked them to follow on.
In their second innings, J&K scored 127 for one in 42 overs with wicket-keeper batsman Obaid Haroon scoring the most runs, an unbeaten 128-ball 52-run innings which was laced with six hits to the fence.

Hyderabad was at the sixth place with 18 points, while J& K (25) reached the second position after bagging a point. Maharashtra (29) is at the top of the Group C points table.
Resuming at 198/6, overnight batsmen Hardeep Singh (78) and S Beigh (76) added another 85 runs today before the latter was dismissed by Ravi Teja to leave J&K at 283 for seven.
Hardeep also could not stay any longer and was sent back by Ravi Kiran in the 92nd over after trapping him infront of wicket.
Two balls later, Ravi dismissed M Mudhasir for a duck. He came back in his next over to get rid off the last batsman Umar Nazir (2) as J&K fall short of 300 by a run.
