Hyderabad civic body collects Rs 65 cr of property tax

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has collected about Rs 65 crore of property tax in the last two days following the Centre's decision to let citizens to pay their utility bills with demonetised currency notes.

GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy appealed to the tax payers to pay their property tax dues by availing the opportunity, said a release by the civic body.
